Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar along with Shiv Sena held a joint press briefing and said that all MLAs except for Ajit Pawar are in support of Shiv Sena and NCP alliance. He said that action will be taken against Ajit Pawar.

The BJP and NCP came together to form government in Maharashtra. President’s Rule was revoked at 5:47am and by around 8am Devendra Fadnavis was sworn in as chief minister and Ajit Pawar as deputy chief minister.
