While addressing a rally, KTR lashed out at Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and said that he is confident of TRS returning to power in Telangana
Hyderabad: Continuing his attack on Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader and caretaker minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) said if the need arises, the party will enter Andhra and “politically finish off Naidu”.
KTR, the son of KCR, said that when the time comes the party will “teach a lesson” to the chief minister of Andhra.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Naidu had also been attacking the TRS party led by K Chandrasekar Rao (KCR).
KTR, in his political campaign rally, accused Naidu of conspiring in Hyderabad and said that they drove him away to Amaravati (upcoming capital of Andhra Pradesh).
“KCR knows how to teach him a lesson. Earlier, when Naidu tried to play tricks in Telangana, we chased him away to Amaravati,” KTR, the caretaker IT minister, said.
He added, “I am confident in this election. Telangana people will chase away Chandrababu Naidu and his party out of the state.”
“KCR plans to float a Federal Front without the BJP and the Congress and he will enter Andhra politics with this aim”, he said commenting on the People’s Front.
For 60 years, both the Congress and the TDP looted the state, now they are “coming together like thieves”, he said. TDP and the Congress have formed an alliance for the December 7 Telangana Assembly elections.
Prior to this, KTR said that he was confident that his party would come back to power. At an event, “Spirit of Hyderabad”, while interacting with the IT and business heads, he said, “People will vote us back as I believe the work that we have done will speak for itself.”
