Ahead of the December 7 Telangana elections, AICC secretary Madhu Yakshi Goud said, "If chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao is ek numbari his son KT Rama Rao is dus numbari"
Huzurnagar: Just 11 days are left for Telangana to get freedom from K Chandrashekar Rao's dictatorial rule as elections will be held and results of the Assembly elections will be out by then, said Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Uttam Kumar Reddy.
He claimed that the people were being treated like “slaves” in KCR’s regime. He said that KCR’s Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) made false promises to the people and came to power with the tool of deception.
People should not be carried away by KCR's oratory skills, he said and alleged that it was just like the illusion of Pied Piper of Hamelin. Reddy also compared KCR and his family to Hitler.
He raised his voice for Praja Kutami (alliance led by Congress party in Telangana, of which Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party, CPI and TJS are also members). He said people should vote for the People's Front (known as Praja Kutami). He was campaigning in Huzurnagar constituency.
Meanwhile, AICC secretary Madhu Yakshi Goud said, “KCR is ek numbari and KTR is das numbari.” He said that the Telangana caretaker chief minister KCR's son KT Rama Rao was much more arrogant than his father.
He said that the father-son duo has looted public money by joining hands with contractors and businessmen from Andhra Pradesh.
He used puns throughout his speech and after “dus numbari” statement, he said that instead of making Hyderabad like Dallas city, he made it Khallas (finished it).
The 119-seat Telangana Assembly will go to polls on December 7. The results will be declared on December 11.
