Pavan smashed the second-highest individual score in U-19 internationals, scoring 282 against Sri Lanka in July
Pavan, who smashed the second-highest individual score in U-19 internationals, scoring 282 against Sri Lanka in July, has replaced Aryan Juyal as the captain of the India U-19 squad. In fact, Juyal has been dropped.
Juyal won't be able to take part in the next U-19 World Cup because of a BCCI policy that does not allow any player to play two successive junior World Cups.
Vedant Murkar will lead the India B team. The tournament will have teams from India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Afghanistan.
