Nottingham: During the third Test against England, India’s opening batsman KL Rahul celebrated taking a catch at second slip by presenting footballer Dele Alli’s “OK” gesture. He was successful in dismissing hosts’ captain Joe Root off Jasprit Bumrah.

Rahul was in outstanding form in the slips as he caught seven catches in the match. India comprehensively outplayed the hosts to win the third Test by 203 runs.

After taking a catch offered by Root, Rahul celebrated in Alli’s way. His salute gesture went viral on social media.

Chasing a 521 for victory, England were bowled out today for 317. India captain Virat Kohli was adjudged Man-of-the-match for his 200 runs in the Test.

The five-match series is currently 2-1 in favour of England. The fourth match starts on August 30.
