Nandamuri Balakrishna is back in the news, this time for allegedly attacking a party member. Balakrishna lost his temper when a party worker was trying to videograph him and thrashed him.
Visakhapatnam: Telugu Desam Party’s Nandamuri Balakrishna attacked his own party member, kicked him in the gut and snatched his phone before throwing it in the air. All because, the party member was trying to capture Balakrishna’s visuals.
While campaigning at Chipurupally, Balakrishna’s campaign went from cheerful to agitated within seconds after he was seen kicking and beating a party worker who was moments before, cheering for the TDP leader.
This is not the first time that Balakrishna has made news. He is quite infamous for his repeated physical and verbal abuses against fans, journalists and now party workers.
Just a few days ago, Balakrishna was caught in a brawl at a time when his brother-in-law Chandrababu Naidu was campaigning in the Chipurupally assembly constituency for Kimidi Nagarjuna.
There too, Balakrishna attacked a party worker where he also pulled the worker’s phone and threw it.
In yet another incident, Balakrishna slapped a local journalist in Hindupur as he was trying to record a video of an event.
He had even threatened to kill the journalist stating that he knows how to hurl a bomb and wield a knife.
Following outrage from media, he had issued an open apology to journalists.
Balakrishna, a sitting MLA and a star campaigner of the ruling Telugu Desam Party, will contest from Hindupur constituency in the Assembly election.
