Wanted gangster Seven Star Pradeep arrested after heavy fire exchange with police

Kalaburagi: RJ Nagar police fired at a wanted criminal Seven Star Pradeep in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, after he attacked cops with firearms. The incident occurred near Green City, Shahabad in Kalaburagi.The police were chasing Pradeep when he attacked them with weapons. During the exchange of fire, Ashoknagar CPI shot Pradeep on the leg. Police constables Venkatesh, Thousif and Basavaraj have been injured and are admitted in a private hospital.

Pradeep, who was overpowered and arrested after the encounter, is being treated at the district hospital in Kalaburagi. He was wanted in more than 17 cases including those of attempt to murder, dacoity and illegal lending of money for high interest. A special team was formed to nab Pradeep.

Pradeep's photos showing him pose with former minister and Congress leader Sharanabasappa Darshanapur and BJP leader Dattatreya Patil Revoor are doing the rounds on social media.
