JD(S) MLA's niece elopes with rowdy, who's found murdered later

Tumakuru: Manu was found in a pool of blood at Koratagere in Tumakuru district, Karnataka at 8 AM on January 8. He was a driver and a rowdy wanted in more than 10 cases. He had eloped with JD(S) MLA's  niece 40 days ago and the couple was said to be residing in Tumakuru.
32-year-old Manu was working as a driver for Basavaraju, also known as Gooli Basava, who is the brother of JD(S) MLA K Gopalaiah.
Basavaraju's 18-year-old daughter went missing on October 22, 2018 along with Manu. A missing complaint was filed on October 25.
 Manu had reportedly married MLA's niece in a temple and were said to be living in Tumakuru. However, they were not traced by Basavaraju's gang. In fact, the couple had released multiple videos on Facebook stating that their lives were in danger.
