Birbhum: In less than a month, another Trinamool Congress (TMC) office in Bengal has been rocked by explosives.

This time, it happened in the Kankartala area of Birbhum district. The blast was so intense that parts of a window of the party office were flung as far as 100 m. Not only this, windows of nearby homes developed cracks too.

After local TMC leaders accepted that explosives were stacked inside the office, the senior leadership is left red-faced. Currently, the police are investigating the matter.

Sources have told MyNation that the explosives were kept in the party office by members of a faction of the TMC ― to be used against another faction in the party.

The TMC is witnessing unprecedented factional feud across Bengal over the control of areas. The violent clashes have left many party workers grievously injured.

Just last month, another TMC office had crumbled in West Medinipur's Narayangarh area due to explosions. The incident had left one dead and five injured.
