Reacting to TRS leader KT Rama Rao's statement that Naidu was taking credit for constructing buildings in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu lashed out at KTR and said that he built Cyberabad
Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu lashed out at K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and said that the Telangana caretaker chief minister was misleading the people of the state by saying that he would remote control the government if the Congress-TDP alliance was voted to power.
Speaking at road shows in Rajendranagar and Sanathnagar, Naidu said that KCR was lying that if People's Front comes to power, he will rule over Telangana from Andhra. He also said, if the alliance wins elections, a person from the Congress will become the chief minister.
"I have ruled Andhra Pradesh for nine years and KCR and his TRS are scared of losing elections. That is why they are misleading the people of Telangana by targeting TDP,” Naidu said.
Speaking about rumours of him building Hyderabad, Naidu clarified that Hyderabad was built by Quli Qutb Shah. But he also said that he built Cyberabad. All the global companies in Hyderabad were brought to the capital by me, he said.
Reacting to KCR's son KT Rama Rao's comments that Naidu was taking credit for the construction of buildings in Hyderabad, he said he not only built the walls but developed Hyderabad as a hi-tech city and made the world recognise the city on world map.
He questioned if KCR brought any investments into Telangana. He mentioned companies like Microsoft, Mindspace, IIIT, Shamshabad Greenfield Airport and said they were all contributions of him and the TDP.
The 119-seat Telangana Assembly will go to polls on December 7.
