Sachin Pilot vs cadre: Is Rajasthan Congress heading for a rebellion?

Days after Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s house was gheraoed in the middle of the night after the first list was out for the Rajasthan polls, now it is time for Sachin Pilot. Congress ticket aspirants for the state of Rajasthan blocked Sachin Pilot’s car. Agitated after being denied tickets, some were even heard chanting 'Narendra Modi zindabad'. In the video that has stunned the entire Rajasthan Congress, Pilot is seen to be making frantic calls. Finally, cops had to intervene and Pilot’s car had to move back.

Rajasthan Congress has been witnessing cracks not only between two of its tall leaders - Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot, but also resentment trickling to the cadre after being denied tickets. Earlier Rahul Gandhi had to cancel his Madhya Pradesh road show to head back to Delhi to meet leaders from Rajasthan.
