Sabarimala: Tamil Nadu police officer, who dared protesters to attack, honoured by KSRTC

Chennai: More than a hundred buses of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) have been attacked and destroyed during protests over two women entering the Sabarimala temple.
Meanwhile, a video of a Tamil Nadu police officer taking on a group of protesters has gone viral.
Sub-inspector Mohan Iyer was near the Kaliyakkavilai border when he dared protesters to attack. In the video, he is seen telling the mob, “If you’re a man, come touch the vehicle.” This act of bravery in the face of violence not only won hearts on the internet but also was rewarded by the KSRTC managing director Thachankary with a citation and Rs 1,000.
