Rajouri: A major-rank Army officer laid down his life today while defusing an improvised explosive device at the Nowshera sector in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri.
The explosive was planted by terrorists from Pakistan along the Line of Control.
The officer from the Corps of Engineers was diffusing an IED when the incident took place.
