Hyderabad: Republic TV, in association with the Centre for Voting Opinion and Trends in Election Research, also known as C-VOTER, has predicted a sweep for K Chandrashekar Rao's (KCR) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana.

In the latest edition of the national approval ratings, Republic TV and C-Voter have stated that the TRS will win 16 Parliamentary seats out of 17 and the remaining one seat will be in the hands of Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM. It has predicted that the national parties BJP and Congress will not have any chance of winning seats from Telangana.

The survey was done on the basis of the fact that who would win the Lok Sabha seats, if elections were conducted now.

It said that the TRS will have a vote share of 42.4%, UPA at 29%, NDA at 12.7% and AIMIM 7.7%.

Chief minister KCR's son and working president of the TRS has reacted to the survey results and has thanked Republic TV and C-Voter. He said that he is delighted.
