Karnataka MLA and Congress leader ST Somashekhar was addressing a public rally where he praised former chief minister Siddaramaiah, while insulting current chief minister HD Kumaraswamy. He said that credit goes to Siddaramaiah for all the development work in Karnataka, whereas the new coalition government has not done anything, specifying that not even a road was laid. Expressing his anger against the comment, Kumaraswamy said that if this was the case, he is ready to step down as the chief minister. Kumaraswamy also lashed out at the Congress, claiming that the party must ask its MLAs to be in control while speaking and not blabber whatever comes to their head.
