Watch: Karnataka minister Tukaram’s aide carries his shoes

Ballari (Karnataka): Karnataka medical education minister E Tukaram made headlines for all the wrong reasons after a video of a Congress worker carrying the minister’s footwear in his hand went viral.

On Wednesday, minister Tukaram, who visited Ballari for the first time after becoming a minister, was at the Kanakadurgamma Temple to offer prayers. After the visit, it was seen that the minister had forgotten his shoes near the temple and boarded the car parked at the entrance of the temple. A party worker, who is also said to be a relative of the minister, was seen carrying the shoes and making the minister wear them inside the car.

Earlier, on September 4, 2018, Karnataka deputy chief minister G Parameshwara, during his visit to Bengaluru's Shivajinagar constituency to inspect the work on the storm water drain asked his gunman to clean his shoes and kurtha as they were dirty.
