An owner of a bakery in Ludhiana has made chocolate Ganesha. He will immerse the idol in milk making it a chocolate milkshake. He plans to treat poor kids with this special drink.
It is a 40 kg Belgian chocolate Ganesha made by bakery owner Harjinder S Kukreja. This is a new concept o preparing eco-friendly Ganesha. Harjinder went a step ahead by not only making the idol eco-friendly, and ensuring this brings a smile to many children.
The three-feet tall Ganesha is currently attracting a large crowd in Ludhiana, Punjab. Environmentalists have been arguing that Ganesha should not be immersed in water, rather the same idol can be used the next year. But Harjinder's Ganesha will be immersed as per traditions.
This is our 3rd year of making Chocolate Lord Ganesha. It took 10 days, 20 chefs & 65 kgs of chocolate for the #ChocolateGanpati to be made. The intention is to inspire people to celebrate #GaneshChaturthi in Eco-friendly ways! #गणेशचतुर्थी #GanpatiBappaMorya #GaneshUtsav pic.twitter.com/OwCJ3vs99d

This idol will be immersed in milk to turn it into chocolate milkshake. Cups of it will be distributed to poor children.
No harm to the environment, instead happiness on the faces of children on Ganesh Chaturthi.
