Farmers in Thiruvananthapuram pay silent tribute to people who died in Cyclone Gaja
District collector of Ramanathapuram, Veera Raghava Rao-led farmers’ meeting in Thiruvananthapuram. They observed 2-minute silence for the people, who died due to Cyclone Gaja in Tamil Nadu.
Thiruvananthapuram: Nearly 46 people died in the cyclonic storm in and around Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu. On November 23, district collector Veera Raghava Rao led the farmers’ meeting in Thiruvananthapuram and began the process with 2 minute silence that was observed to pay tribute to all the people, who died due to Cyclone Gaja.
