New Delhi: Following Congress social media head Divya Spandana’s act of tweeting a morphed image of Narendra Modi with a defamatory hashtag against the Prime Minister, lawyer Vibhor Anand has threatened to file a case of defamation against her.

25-year-old Anand, who had earlier dragged Arvind Kejriwal to court on the charge of sedition, would demand of Spandana damages worth a whopping Rs 10,000 crore if she failed to apologise for the said tweet and delete it latest by 12 tonight.

Speaking to MyNation, the founder of India Against Biased Media (IAMB) said, “If she fails to delete the tweet and apologise, I will file a case under Section 67 of the IT Act along with Sections 505 and 153A of the IPC.” He has also threatened to make Congress president Rahul Gandhi a party to the dispute in the court.

On being asked where would he get the requisite 1% of the of the Rs 10,000 crore for the defamation suite, as required by law, he said, “People will help us with that.”

The Congress social media had called the Prime Minister a "chor" (thief).
