Led by BS Yeddyurappa, a BJP delegation met governor Vajubhai Vala and sought action against those who vandalised the house of Preetam Gowda, the BJP MLA from Hassan
Bengaluru: A BJP delegation, led by state BJP president and leader of opposition BS Yeddyurappa met Karnataka governor Vajubhai Vala on Thursday. They urged the governor to take strict action against those who vandalised the house of Preetam Gowda, the BJP MLA from Hassan.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leader KS Eshwarapppa compared the issue of vandalism to the attack carried out against a Congress MLA Anand Singh by another Congress MLA JN Ganesh and said that the government has taken no action against him and is yet to be arrested.
While the party leaders met the governor to protest the issue, the BJP workers held a protest at the Mysuru Bank Circle, against the bad governance of the HD Kumaraswamy government.
In another development, the BJP released another audio involving deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwara exhorting former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda to drink poison.
In all, the stalemate will continue in the state with the Conress-JD(S) coalition targeting the BJP.
