Home work scam by ‘Bunty and Babli’; students, housewives lose money

Meet this couple from Bengaluru, which has come together to loot helpless people who are in search of jobs. Vinod alias Rohit and Nandhini, through their NTS Solutions, have duped over 800 people in the name of “Work from home” job concept. Now, they are arrested and sent to judicial custody. Their modus operandi involved using public platforms and social media to target job seekers. The victims were asked to pay Rs 4,000 to join. According to them, the job involved filling up 20 to 30 applications where they needed to write numbers inside small boxes. Even a pen mark outside of the boxes resulted in no money. Most of them, students and housewives, were duped based on this after being promised Rs 500 per day. The pair has reportedly made more than Rs 20 lakh. The locals in Banashankari grew suspicious and complained to the police after they noticed huge crowds at the duo’s office regularly. Other victims too have complained to the police.
