Lucknow: A museum is going to be built in Uttar Pradesh after the name of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The museum will be constructed in the Hussainabad area of old Lucknow. Atal Bihari Vajpayee had an old relationship with Lucknow. From Lucknow, he became a member of Parliament five times, and also became the Prime Minister of the country from here.

During his tenure, Vajpayee carried out many development works in Lucknow. To honour him, the Uttar Pradesh government is going to create a museum in Lucknow in the memory of Atal ji. Every aspect of his life will be shown and displayed in this museum.

The museum will be built in old Lucknow

The government is planning to build Atal Museum in several acres of Hussainabad powerhouse in old Lucknow. The government has released 66 crore rupees for the beautification of old Lucknow. For this museum, the government has provided Rs 20 crore and Rs 10 crore to build food courts. With the remaining 36 crores, other beautification works will be done

Powerhouse shifted

To build the museum, the government has already shifted Husseinabad's old powerhouse to another place. The old powerhouse has been shifted to a new powerhouse built with a cost of 100 crores near Gulal ghat. The entire work of shifting has cost about Rs 70 crore.

The final decision will be made by the Chief Minister

There was a plan to build a museum of some great leader on the land at old electric house, but the nature and name of the museum were not decided. Now, the government is contemplating the name of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the museum. However, according to the officials, the final decision will be made by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
