Armed Forces Flag Day is observed in the honour of the soldiers who are fighting relentlessly for the nation and for those who have laid their lives for the country
New Delhi: As the nation celebrates Armed Forces Flag Day on December 7— a day dedicated towards the collection of funds from people for the welfare of the Indian Armed Forces personnel — several politicians took to Twitter to pay tribute to the soldiers who have dedicated themselves to serving the motherland.
Since 1949, the day is being observed annually in India and with time it has become a tradition to commemorate this day as an honour to the soldiers.
