New Delhi: Though the nation has been preoccupied lately with the debates on the Rafale deal, the BJP seems to have its priorities set, and that is to win the 2019 general elections.
Party president Amit Shah held a meeting with Gujarat’s Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs at the Gujarat Bhavan in Delhi on Wednesday to discuss how to win the upcoming elections.
According to reports, Shah said that BJP had to win all the 26 constituencies in Gujarat as the state is of special significance to both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and him.
Party leaders like Ramlal, Kailash Vijayvergiya, Arjun Ram Meghwal and Narendra Tomar were present in the meeting, too.
Following the meeting, Union minister Mansukh Mandaviya confirmed that Shah had presided over this meeting.
