Telangana caretaker chief minister Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) was addressing a public meeting in Alampur when a youth shouted slogans against him and this angered the TRS chief.
Alampur: A video of Telangana's caretaker chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) calling people bewakoof and scolding them during an election rally has gone viral.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief KCR was addressing a public rally at Alampur Praja Ashirwada Sabha, when a youth from the crowd shouted slogans against him.
KCR got angry and asked his gunmen to control the crowd. When the noise from the crowd increased, he lost his cool and said, “Why are you shouting? Are you bewakoof galu? Don’t you have sense? You seem to have gone mad (pichollu).”
To this, Mahbubnagar MLA and TRS leader AP Jithender Reddy told KCR that people were excited.
This again angered Rao, who said, “Even excitement shouldn’t be high as brainless excitement is of no use.”
Soon, irrigation minister Harish Rao brought the crowd and noise under control and KCR continued his speech.
This is not the first time that KCR had snapped at people during an election rally. Last week, he scolded a man during a poll rally when he questioned about the proposed 12% reservation for Muslims.
"What are you talking? Sit silent. What about 12 per cent? Why are you in hurry? Tere baap ko bolunga na (I will tell your father). Are you doing tamasha," KCR had asked.
Rao is said to have been aiming to cover every constituency in the state (total 119) and is continuously addressing public meetings. Telangana Assembly elections will be held on December 7 and results will be out on December 11.
