For 2024, the Ramadan period commenced on 12 March 2024, and it will conclude on 9 April 2024. Eid al-Fitr is celebrated upon the sighting of the new moon. It will be observed on Wednesday that is April 10, if the moon of the month of Shawwal is sighted on April 9.
If the moon of the month of Shawwal is sighted on Wednesday that is April 10, then the festival of Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on the following day which is Thursday, April 11.
It is highly expected to be celebrated on April 11.
