Supreme Court of India has started the online application process for the positions of Junior Court Attendant (Cooking Knowing). Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Supreme Court at sci.gov.in. The last date to submit the application is September 19, 2024.

Salary

The objective of this recruitment process is to fill 80 vacant posts of Junior Court Attendant (Cooking Knowing) in Pay Matrix Level 3. The basic salary for this post is Rs 21,700 per month, which includes other allowances. However, this number is subject to change and may be increased or decreased.

Eligibility criteria 

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed class 10 from any recognized board or institution.
Technology Qualification: Candidate must have at least one year full time diploma in Cooking/Culinary Arts. Ex-Servicemen, who do not possess this Diploma, should have Trade or Proficiency Certificate in Cooking or Catering issued by the competent authority.

What is the age limit?

Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be 27 years (as on 01st August 2024).
Relaxation in age will be given to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Physically Challenged, Ex-Servicemen, Widows, Divorced Women, Judicially Separated Women who are not remarried and dependents of freedom fighters as per government rules. There will be no age limit for those employees of the Supreme Court who have completed 3 years of regular service in the Registry. No age relaxation will be given to the candidates working in other government departments.

What is the selection process?

There will be three main stages of the selection process in the Supreme Court.

1. Written Examination: 100 Marks

2. Practical Trade Skill Test: 70 Marks

3. Interview: 30 Marks

Overall the entire selection process will be of 200 marks.
