The beauty of seven sisters of the Northeast - Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura, is taking over the Interweb as people upload gorgeous photographs from the area.
New Delhi: If you have not visited Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland or Tripura yet, these pics will make sure you book your tickets STAT.
It all began when Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked people to share the natural beauty of Northeast India using the hashtag #MagnificentNortheast. He wrote on his Twitter handle, "Do you have pictures of your own Northeast visits or glimpses of the spectacular natural beauty of the region?"
PM Modi is on a two-day visit to three Northeastern states Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.
