The bride-to-be rocked a lehenga from the desinger's India Revival Project for the Graha Shanti Pooja event
Mumbai: While Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh kickstarted the season of big, fat Indian weddings, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal will be joining the year-end wedding clique too.
Isha Ambani and industrialist Anand Piramal are set to get hitched on December 12. The daughter of billionaire Mukesh Ambani and the son of billionaire industrialist Ajay Piramal had got engaged in a lavish engagement ceremony in picturesque Lake Como, in northern Italy on the lap of Alps last month.
And, just like Deepika, Isha has also opted for India's favourite bridal couturier, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She wore a custom hand-painted, hand-embroidered tilla-work lehenga and antique bandhej dupatta for the Graha Shanti Pooja event. The outfit is a part of the India Revival Project by Sabyasachi and accessorised with Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry.
A statement released by the two families read, "We are delighted to share that the marriage of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal will take place in the residence of Shri Mukesh Ambani and Smt. Nita Ambani in Mumbai with family members and close friends on 12th December 2018. The ceremonies will be performed in accordance with Indian traditions, customs and culture."
