Delhi University (DU) has invited applications for the Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS) 2024-25. This internship scheme is an excellent opportunity for students who want to gain practical experience along with their studies. Selected students will get a chance to do a flexible internship of 8-10 hours per week. In return, they will also get a stipend of Rs 5,500 every month.

Internship Duration

The maximum duration of the internship will be 6 months from the date of joining. This internship will be part-time so that there will be no impact on the studies of the students.

Last date to apply

Interested students can apply online till 20 September 2024. The application process is being conducted by the Dean Students Welfare (DSW).

Who can apply?

Regular students of Delhi University: Only regular students of Delhi University are eligible for this internship scheme.

No course and stream limit: Students enrolled in any course (both undergraduate or postgraduate) or stream can apply. 

Not for first year/semester students: Students of first year or first semester will not be allowed to apply in this scheme.

Internship

A student can avail the benefit of VCIS only once during his/her course. After successful completion of the internship, students will receive a certificate from the Dean Students Welfare, which will be issued on the basis of a satisfactory assessment report by the concerned Department/Centre/Institute.
