The American EDM artist took to Twitter to tease his fans with his Indian collaboration. Here are the details
New Delhi: Masked American musician, Marshmello, seems set to score more brownie points with his desi audience. Best known for chart-toppers such as Happier and Alone, the DJ teased fans with an announcement on Twitter.
The EDM artist shared a clip of Indian singer Daler Mehndi from the Tunak Tunak music video with the hashtag #Biba. The end credits of the 16 seconds long clip also feature Indian music composer Pritam's name. The track is also rumoured to feature Indo-Kiwi singer Shirley Setia, who shot to fame with her singing on YouTube.

However, the announcement has received mixed reviews, mostly since veteran musician Daler Mehndi's dance moves seem to have hogged the spotlight. Some netizens have also requested Marshmello to give his version of Mehndi's hit Tunak Tunak. Others cannot even with the news and are passing it off as a joke. Some netizens are considering it as a bid by music giant T-series to finally get ahead in the YouTube subscribers war with blogger Pewdiepie.
