Despite financial difficulties, Ved remained determined to pursue competitive examinations and persevered through the setbacks. Eventually, Ved Prakash’s efforts paid off when he succeeded in the UPPSC 2021 exam. Presently, he serves as a Block Development Officer in Aligarh.
Education
Since childhood, Ved Prakash excelled in his studies. He scored brilliant grades in class 10 and 12, and he aspired to pursue a career in civil services. However, receiving further education seemed unattainable due to his family’s financial constraints. Despite the challenges, he completed his graduation and postgraduation from KRPG College, Mathura. He provided tuition classes to young children to pay for his education. During difficult times, he even worked as a labourer alongside his father.
Preparing for UPPSC

He was able to continue his preparation without worrying about the finances. During his time at the coaching centre, he abstained from celebrating festivals like Holi and Diwali, showing his remarkable dedication to his dreams.
Enduring challenges
Ved Prakash appeared for several competitive exams. Disappointment set in when he couldn’t make it to the final list, but he never gave up on his dreams. He kept pushing himself to do better. His elder brother, who secured a teaching position, provided valuable support and guidance to him. Ved sat for exams like Lower PCS, Review Officer, and UP PGT.
