By staying true to her passion, she demonstrated that chasing one's dreams can bring both fulfilment and success. Nita turned her love for plants into a thriving business, generating income from the comfort of her home. Today, she even counts the government among her clients.

Love for plants

Nita fondly remembers her childhood fascination with plants. Whenever she came across a potted plant or a tiny seedling, she couldn't help but nurture it. Her parents would frequently scold her, insisting that she concentrate on her studies. Yet, Nita's passion for plants remained steadfast and ultimately guided the course of her life.

Turning a hobby into a business

Nita made the decision to transform her passion into a business. She began crafting customized plants, and her small indoor creations, embellished with miniature decorative items such as Radha-Krishna and Gautam Buddha figurines. These items quickly gained popularity as unique showpieces.

Customized plants

Nita's business flourished as her plants became popular for being both decorative and low-maintenance. She explains that these plants need only a small amount of water every two to three days, making them ideal for busy people. Customers also love choosing these customized plants as unique gifts for special occasions. Additionally, unique and personal messages can also be engraved onto the plants, adding an extra touch of sentimentality.

Nita has successfully crafted over 4,000 customized pots to date, ensuring that each plant is unique and tailored to the specific order. She believes that everyone has their own preferences, which is why she dedicates herself to making each customized plant distinct and special.

Business success

A key highlight of Nita's business is her ability to secure large orders from the government. She often receives requests for 500 to 1,000 plants for various government events, which has become a significant source of income for her. This not only boosts her earnings but also strengthens her recognition within government circles.

Unique designs 

Nita's customized plants are adorned with Gautam Buddha figurines and vibrant stones, adding a unique touch to each piece. She also incorporates charcoal, which helps absorb gases emitted by the plants, promoting healthier growth. The demand for these customized creations spikes during special occasions, particularly on Valentine's Day, as people seek thoughtful and distinctive gifts.
