Career in the medical field

While chatting with an American speaker at his university, Dr. Ahmad discovered the exciting opportunities available in the medical field abroad. Inspired by this conversation, he decided to pursue a career overseas. He landed his first job as a pharmacology lecturer in Malaysia, a turning point that changed the course of his life.

PhD from the University of Sydney

After working in Malaysia for a while, Dr Ahmad earned his PhD from the University of Sydney. During his studies, he noticed that many medical professionals from India and other countries aspired to find good jobs abroad, but their lack of information about licensing exams and other requirements held them back. Seeing this gap, he recognized a valuable opportunity and decided to focus his efforts on helping these professionals navigate the process.

While working as a research manager at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network, Dr Ahmad began sharing valuable information about foreign medical jobs and licensing exams on YouTube. His videos quickly gained popularity, attracting a massive audience, and soon his online platform boasted millions of followers.

Launching a healthcare startup

In 2022, Dr Ahmad left his well-paying job to launch 'Academically Global,' a healthcare EdTech startup designed to assist medical professionals in preparing for licensing exams for lucrative jobs abroad. Operating from both Sydney and India, the platform's curriculum supports students from over 75 countries around the world.

Investments and success

Dr Ahmad launched this platform with just $50,000 in initial capital. Today, thousands of students join the platform each month. The startup specializes in licensing exams, syllabi, and preparation strategies for various countries, making it easier for medical professionals to prepare effectively and secure well-paying jobs abroad.
