By the age of 40, weight issues and other ailments become difficult to deal with. Prachi Tripathi manages a perfect balance between her professional and personal life. She once faced challenges and ridicule due to her weight. She began her transformation journey and today, she has gained recognition as a successful fitness coach.
Who is Prachi Tripathi?
Prachi is a resident of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. She did her schooling from Gorakhpur Carmel Girls Inter College. After obtaining her MCom degree, she pursued a certificate in Human Resources from Singapore. She also holds an A-level certificate in Nutrition from Dubai. In the year 2005, she married Rahul and lived in Singapore for 6 years.
During the time, she also worked at Global Indian International School. Upon returning to Delhi, Prachi worked as Deputy Operation Manager at Modi Group and later relocated to Dubai, where she worked at Amity Dubai Children’s Department.
Facing ridicule
Prachi faced ridicule for her weight during her multiple jobs. No one directly confronted her, but she sensed discomfort in people’s behaviour, motivating her to take action. Determined, Prachi reduced her weight from 98 kg to 68 kg in just three months. Physical fitness is now an integral part of her lifestyle.
Journey to becoming a dietician
During her time in Dubai, Prachi transitioned into becoming a dietician. While focusing on her fitness and making diet plans, she gained attention and people started reaching out to her. Prachi shares that one of her clients, Amita Maheshwari, experienced significant weight loss through her guidance, marking the beginning of her career as a dietician.
Returning to India
Prachi had to return to India from Dubai when her father-in-law had a stroke. During the pandemic, she reached out to Dr Yasha Mishra, a renowned doctor in Padrauna. Prachi helped the doctor lose 8 kg weight, which helped her gain more clients. Today, she gets clients from various states and countries including America, Germany, and Dubai. She is a well-known dietician and fitness coach, not only promoting a healthy lifestyle but also raising awareness about diseases related to obesity.
