Anam Mirza, sister of former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, has carved her own path as a successful entrepreneur after initially starting out in journalism. Graduating from Nasr School with a degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies, Anam began her career with internships at several national channels. However, her passion for entrepreneurship soon took center stage.
In 2013, Anam launched "Ink to Change," a website aimed at nurturing aspiring journalists. The following year, she ventured into the fashion industry with her own label, "The Label Bazaar." Her entrepreneurial journey took a significant leap in 2022 when she co-founded Daawat-e-Ramzaan, now recognized as India's largest Ramzan expo, drawing around 150,000 visitors annually in just a span of two years.
Anam's personal life has also seen its share of public interest. She married Akbar Rasheed in 2016, but the couple parted ways in 2018. In 2019, Anam found love again and tied the knot with Mohammad Asaduddin, the son of the esteemed former cricketer and politician Mohammad Azharuddin.
Beyond her personal life, Anam continues to flourish in her entrepreneurial endeavors, blending her journalistic roots with her fashion and event management ventures.
