Business ideas

Jaykumar works for a company in Bengaluru. During the pandemic in 2020, he decided to start a business alongside his job. He did research on business fundamentals and how to make it profitable. One day, a YouTube idea inspired him to venture into notebook making industry.

Business success

According to him, notebooks have always been essential for students. To start the business, he bought a manufacturing machine for Rs 7.5 lakh and raw materials for Rs 4 lakh from South India. Today, he sources raw materials from UP due to transportation issues. He has also provided employment to six people in the factory.

Empowering workers

Jaykumar provides training to both men and women workers. Through his support, the women workers have become self-reliant. He sells his products in local markets and through online platforms, with high demands on Amazon, Flipkart, Shopclues, Meesho and more. Around 700 to 800 notebooks are manufactured daily. He aims to increase this number to 3000 notebooks in the future.
