There’s nothing in this world that can’t be achieved with determination and perseverance. A notable example of this resilience is Roshni Kumari from Purnia, Bihar. Despite her father working as an e-rickshaw driver and paint polisher, and facing numerous challenges of poverty, she has achieved great success by passing the Bihar Inspector exam, bringing immense joy to her family.
Struggle with poverty
Roshni's father, Kanhaiya Lal Das, who drives an e-rickshaw, worked tirelessly to support his family and to ensure his children received a good education. Roshni honoured her father's sacrifices by passing the Bihar Inspector's exam despite the challenges of poverty. Her mother, Rekha Devi, is a homemaker.
A dream of a government job
Roshni shares that from a young age, she aspired to secure a government job. Despite her family's financial struggles, she remained determined and did not give up on her dream. She diligently prepared for the BPSC exam, but it was a lengthy process. When she learned about the Inspector recruitment, she shifted her focus to that exam and continued her hard work. Her perseverance ultimately paid off, and she successfully passed the Inspector's exam.
Becoming an inspiration
Roshni has always been dedicated to working for the advancement of women and the well-being of the underprivileged. She mentioned that her document verification was completed on August 7, and she will be officially appointed to her position by the end of the month to serve the state. Her teachers have played a significant role in her success, applauding her hard work and dedication.
Despite battling poverty and challenging circumstances, Roshni continued her education and achieved her goal of becoming an inspector. Her success serves as an inspiration to other underprivileged girls who may doubt their ability to fulfil their dreams due to their circumstances.
