Dissatisfied with his job as an office-boy at Infosys, Dadasaheb Bhagat decided to make a career transition. Balancing his daytime work, he embarked on studying graphics designing and animation at nights. In the year 2015, he established his startup called ‘Ninthmotion.’
New Delhi: Dadasaheb Bhagat, a resident of Beed district of Maharashtra, worked as an office-boy at one of India’s leading IT companies, Infosys. He had a dream of founding his own company, which prompted him to learn animation. He spent nights after nights, getting acquainted with the newest animation techniques and technologies. Today, Dadasaheb makes lakhs from his two establishments.
Dadasaheb Bhagat’s background
Dadasaheb Bhagat was born in the year 1994. His family made a living through farming. He also helped his family in the fields during the harvest season. After completing his school studies till grade 10, he enrolled at ITI Pune. He completed his diploma and found a job as an office-boy at Infosys.
Learning animation
Dadasaheb Bhagat used to earn a monthly salary of Rs 9,000 from his job. He learned about the importance of software applications in the world of business. Dissatisfied with his job, he decided to make a career transition. Balancing his daytime work, he embarked on studying graphics designing and animation at nights. Upon completing the course, he secured a job in Mumbai and gained more experience by working in Hyderabad. Furthermore, he also pursued programming languages like C++ and Python.
Launching the startup
Dadasaheb Bhagat embarked on his journey to launching his own business when he saw a potential in design and graphics sector. He focused on a library of reusable designs and templates. He faced a setback due to an accident which confined him to bed. However, he continued to develop more designs. In the year 2015, he established his startup called ‘Ninthmotion,’ and gained 6000 customers.
Praise from the PM
During the lockdown, Dadasaheb had to return to his village. He transformed a cowshed into a makeshift office space. In 2020, he developed a design software named DooGraphics Pvt Ltd, similar to Canva. His achievements were acknowledged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in one his Mann Ki Baat speeches in 2020.
