New Delhi: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his new cabinet took oath at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday it became clear that Sushma Swaraj, who held the charge of External Affair ministry was not to be a part of Modi Cabinet 2.0.
Veteran leader Sushma Swaraj, who was quite popular on the social media for her quick responses and instant help to citizens, both in India and abroad, was missed by the Twitterati and a large number of people requested her to return as the foreign minister.
The 66-year-old leader underwent a kidney transplant in December 2016 and had decided to not contest the Lok Sabha elections due to health reasons.
During the swearing-in ceremony, Swaraj sat with the attendees and not on the stage, making it clear that she will not set to be a part of Modi Cabinet 2.0.
