Bengaluru: At a time when debates and discussions over love jihad continue, here is a story that defines love in all its purity. 

A Muslim man, who fell in love with a Muslim girl, has converted to Hinduism and married her. 

The man is aged 21 years while the girl is aged 19 years. 

Fearing consequences, the two had approached the Punjab and Haryana high court, seeking protection and the court has given it. 

The wedding was solemnised with Hindu rituals at Yamunanagar. 

The couple informed the court about the threat. The court asked the police to evaluate the threat perception and take action suitably. The two were kept in a protection home. The police also had a word with the family of the girl. 

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij had last week said the state government has set up a three-member committee to draft a law against "love jihad", as reported by NDTV.
