The 10-day long festival marks the birth of Lord Ganesha and is also known as Vinayak Chaturthi.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 22 greeted people on Ganesh Chaturthi. He wished people joy and prosperity everywhere.
He tweeted, "Greetings on the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. May the blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ganesh always be upon us. May there be joy and prosperity all over."
