Six pumping stations of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) pumped out more than 14,000 million litres of water and discharged it into the sea which is more than the combined capacity of the Tulsi and Vihar lake.

Western Railways releases a special train between Dadar and Valsad for the convenience of passengers. The Special train will depart from Dadar at 18.25 hrs with 23 coaches & will halt at all stoppages of 59023 MMCT-Valsad fast passenger.

Maharashtra CM, Devendra Fadnavis says high tide is expected at 12 noon. Situation will be monitored. "Last night Mumbai police received 1600-1700 tweets from people, they received immediate help. BMC Disaster Management worked the entire night. Heavy rainfall is expected in next 2 days. We are prepared for it," said Fadnavis.
