Before a crucial match against the Rajasthan Royals, a social media post from CSK left fans curious. But they were pleasantly surprised when MS Dhoni and his teammates gave signed balls to fans after achieving their 50th home win at the venue.

During the lap, fans showed their love for Dhoni with chants of his name filling the stadium. Dhoni even hit some signed tennis balls into the crowd, making everyone cheer louder.

CSK's official Instagram shared a picture of this moment, calling it "Thala’s return gift for the fans!" Many videos of fans cheering for Dhoni are also circulating online.

After this surprise, fans speculated if there would be an announcement about Dhoni's future. Some fans expressed their hope that the franchise wouldn't disappoint them.

During the lap, there was also a heartwarming reunion between Dhoni and Suresh Raina, a former CSK player. They shared a warm hug, and Dhoni asked Raina, who was present as part of the IPL 2024 commentary team, to hit a few balls into the venue.
