Here are some tips to stay cool during the day:
- Dress appropriately: Wear light-coloured cotton clothes and protect your head from intense sun. Lightweight and loose-fitted clothes are the best options for summer.
- Stay hydrated: Make sure you drink plenty of water and keep your body hydrated, especially during travelling.
- Stay indoors or seek shade: If possible, stay indoors and prevent going out during the day. If you must go out, try to seek shade to protect yourself from direct sun.
- Drink ORS and homemade drinks: Restore the levels of electrolytes in your body by drinking ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) or homemade beverages like lemonade to stay fit.
- Eat water-rich fruits and vegetables: Consuming water-rich fruits and vegetables can keep the body hydrated and provide essential nutrients to combat heat.
You can enjoy a safe and cool summer this year by following these tips.
