1. Fastest Metro Service
Meerut Metro is regarded as the fastest metro service in India, with a maximum speed of 120 kilometers per hour, matching that of the Delhi Airport Metro. The system is designed to operate at speeds of up to 135 kilometers per hour.
2. Fully Air-Conditioned Trains
All Meerut Metro trains will be fully air-conditioned, featuring comfortable padded seats that ensure an enjoyable journey for passengers.
3. Passenger Capacity
The three-coach Meerut Metro train will accommodate over 700 passengers, with 173 seats available for sitting while the remaining passengers can travel standing.
4. Energy Saving too
The Meerut Metro will feature a button-operated door system. This means that when the train arrives at a station, the doors will only open once a passenger presses the button, helping to conserve energy.
5. Passenger Security System
