Indore is recognized as the business hub of Madhya Pradesh. The city has created a world record by planting 11 lakh saplings in just 24 hours. This massive plantation drive covered Indore city and its outskirts, with enthusiastic participation from children, adults, and people from all walks of life. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also attended the event to support this initiative.

Madhya Pradesh CM Dr Mohan Yadav, Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, and Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava received certificates from the Guinness Book of World Records for achieving the goal of planting over 11 lakh saplings in a single day. 

Nearly 50 thousand participants contributed to the success of this campaign. Various BJP organizations, social service groups, common citizens, and young students participated enthusiastically. The campaign involved planting saplings in public spaces, parks, gardens, and forests throughout the city.

Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam

On Sunday, the planting of 11 lakh saplings began at the BSF Revati Range in Indore under the campaign named ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. During the event, the atmosphere was vibrant with patriotism as everyone enthusiastically planted trees. Home Minister Amit Shah also participated by planting saplings and encouraged the public to join the initiative.
