Bengaluru: Millions of Hindus wait anxiously for August 5 to dawn as the bhumi puja of Ayodhya Ram temple is to take place. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone.

As per the report, on 5 August, images of Lord Ram and 3D portraits of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be beamed across the giant billboards at the iconic Times Square in New York to celebrate the bhumi puja.
Jadish Sewhani, prominent Indian-American community leader and president of the America India Public Affairs Committee, was quoted in the report as saying that arrangements were being made to celebrate the historic moment in New York on 5 August.
The celebration will begin from 8 am on 5 August and continue till 10 pm.
On the occasion, images of the words 'Jai Shri Ram' in Hindi and English, Lord Ram's portraits and videos, 3D portraits of the temple's design and architecture as well as pictures of the laying of the foundation stone by PM Modi will be displayed across several billboards.
The billboards are among the most striking and popular features of the Times Square, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
Foolproof security for PM
Security has been tightened for PM Modi’s visit after there were inputs from the intelligence agencies that there could be a terrorist attack. Checking is being conducted at the city borders. Modi will land on the helipad made at Saket Degree college.

The work has been distributed department-wise to create a Diwali-like atmosphere on the arrival of PM Modi. The district magistrate is monitoring day to day progress of the work.
