Kshitij Gurbhele, an IIT-Roorkee student who passed the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) test, surprised his father at work in a heartwarming scene captured on camera.
Gurbhele achieved an outstanding all-India rank of 441 in the very tough exam. The emotional scene was caught on camera when he went to his father's workplace during a lunch break.
The video displays Gurbhele entering the office with a joking remark: "When an authority figure visits, everyone must stand up, right?" The father immediately notices his son's accomplishment and leaps up for an embrace and congratulatory kisses. The coworkers, sharing in the joy, shouted and flocked around the couple.
Kshitij shared his emotions on Instagram, writing, "This is how I delivered the UPSC CSE 2023 result to my father, who was having lunch with his colleagues at his office." It took two years of hard labor to reach this extremely wonderful occasion. Forever grateful to Mummy, Father, and Didi for serving as the only constants on this road."
