The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is one of the most difficult exams in the country. It not only tests your knowledge but also your determination, perseverance, and ability to function under pressure. Millions of students dream of cracking the UPSC exam every year; however, only a few can achieve their dream in one chance. 

One such relentless and hard-working individual who achieved her dream is former engineer and social media star, IPS Anshika Verma. She cracked the UPSC exam without any coaching and relied on her self-study and discipline to help her reach her goals. 

 

 

Her story is nothing less than inspiring and motivating to millions of aspirants who wish to make their dream of clearing UPSC come true. Anshika hails from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. She did her schooling in Noida and got her B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Galgotia College, Noida. 

After her graduation, she started her UPSC examination preparation in 2019 and dedicated all her time to her studies. With unwavering dedication and focus, Anshika cleared the examination with an All India Rank (AIR) of 136 on her second attempt in 2020. She achieved this without any coaching, which showcases her resolute hard work and devotion towards her goal. 

Anshika's father is a retired employee of Uttar Pradesh Electricity Corporation Limited (UPECL), and her mother is a housewife. The IPS officer credits her parents for their support and trust in her. Currently, Anshika is posted as an ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police) in Gorakhpur.
